This Multi-Modular Cable Tester tests quickly by auto-scanning patch and installed cables. Use of the remote unit allows testing of already installed cables.  The tester tests for continuity (shorts/opens) and miswiring. This tester is specifically designed to test "Intentionally Crossed Pairs". It will also test straight-through wiring.
