4P/6P/8P Telcom Crimping Tool

A ratcheting crimping tool that combines crimping for 4P, 6P, and 8P telephone and network modular plugs with stripping and cutting functions for round twisted-pair cable.

The UCP-376TX is suitable for technicians installing or repairing telephone, RJ11, RJ22, and RJ45 network cabling and other low-voltage systems. Always use it according to the product manual, site conditions, and applicable work procedures.

The multi-size dies and vertical crimping action support common 4P/6P/8P plugs and apply pressure to the contacts more evenly. Correct settings and the specified operating range must still be observed; results should not be judged from a single function alone.

The high-leverage ratchet and cutting-area guard help ensure that the full crimping cycle is completed and reduce the risk of accidental injury around the cutting area. This design is primarily intended to improve operating efficiency, stability, and ease of on-site use.

Arrange the wire sequence for the plug type and insert the wires fully. Place the plug in the matching die, squeeze until the ratchet releases completely, and then remove and inspect the connection.

Suitable for 8P8C/RJ45, 6P2C/6P4C/6P6C RJ11, and 4P2C/4P4C RJ22 plugs. Overall length is approximately 190 mm.

Do not crimp energized cables or incompatible plugs. Keep fingers away from the blades and ratchet linkage. If the tool jams, use the specified release mechanism.

Remove plastic and wire debris, apply a small amount of lubricant to the joints, and inspect the dies for deformation and the ratchet for smooth operation.

The UCP-376TX is suitable for telephone and standard network plugs. If pass-through RJ45 plugs are used most often, select a crimping tool designed specifically for pass-through plugs.
