Wrist Strap

It is a corded antistatic wrist strap that uses a wrist band and 3 m grounding lead to discharge body static gradually to a verified grounding point.

The AS-311 is suitable for electronic production lines, PCB assembly, computer repair, and personnel handling electrostatic-sensitive components. Follow the product manual, site conditions, and operating procedures.

The 3 m cord provides a broad working range, while approximately 1 MΩ resistance limits discharge current so static dissipates in a controlled manner. Use it with a correct verified grounding arrangement.

The elastic fixed band keeps the conductive material in continuous contact with the skin to maintain the grounding path. This design improves operating consistency.

Wear the band on a bare wrist and adjust it for full contact. Connect the grounding end to a verified ESD ground before touching sensitive components.

Wrist-band resistance is approximately 10³-10⁵ Ω, grounding-cord resistance is 10⁶ Ω, the band is fixed, and the cord is 3 m long.

Connect only to an approved ESD ground. Never clip it to a mains live conductor, unknown metal, or equipment without verified grounding.

Regularly inspect wrist-band conductivity, connectors, and the cable for breaks. Clean the band according to frequency of use and perform periodic ESD tests.

A corded wrist strap provides stable grounding at a fixed workstation. A wireless strap does not replace a formal grounding arrangement and ESD workbench system.

Confirm the workstation grounding specification, cable length, wrist-band size, and connector type, and establish a periodic testing and replacement program.
