SI-186N Upgrades Over the SI-186
Compared with the SI-186, the upgraded SI-186N adds the following two features:
1. Selectable °C/°F Temperature Display
The SI-186N supports switching between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F), allowing users to select their preferred temperature unit for clearer and more intuitive temperature setting.
2. 5-Minute Automatic Sleep Mode
When left idle for 5 minutes, the SI-186N automatically enters sleep mode and reduces the soldering tip temperature to 200°C (392°F). This helps minimize oxidation and wear caused by prolonged high-temperature operation, extending the service life of the soldering tip.
